We Believe -

♦ There is one God, Creator of all things. Eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
♦ The entire Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
♦ In the deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to the earth in power and glory.
♦ That all men have sinned, but are justified through grace by faith in Christ's death and resurrection.
♦ In the resurrection of the dead, the second coming of Christ, and the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.
♦ In the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
♦ In the Born Again experience and baptism of the Holy Spirit as it was on the day of Pentecost and the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
♦ In divine healing, through faith, and that it is the Christian's right and privilege to trust God for their healing when they are sick and afflicted.
♦ In open celebration of the Communion Table.
♦ In water baptism, in Jesus name, by immersion and the voluntary dedication of children up to the age of understanding.
♦ That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
♦ In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
♦ In intensive world evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the great commission, with signs following.

About the Pastor -

           Pastor Christopher Opurong is filled with the Love of the Lord and gives this Love away to all he meets. He is called to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. And he lives and breathes to please our Heavenly Father by expressing the Love of Christ in all that he thinks, says and does. This is reflected in the 'good works' he does by the abundance of fruit he bears. He stands firm in his faith and gives thanks to God in all things, as well as giving Him all the Glory.

♦ Received his salvation in 1975
♦ Became an evangelist in 1979 and a Pastor in 1980
♦ From 1975 - 1992 was associated with the First Kenya Outreach Churches
♦ 1992 became affiliated with the Gospel Assembly Churches
♦ Married his wife Florence in 19
♦ Has been living in Texas since January 2007 and working to establish a link between this nation and Africa
